The most noticeable change is the form factor we have changed from a plastic DIN-rail mounted enclosure to a powder-coated metal enclosure. This change in material enables us to employ best-practice electrical design techniques to reduce electromagnetic noise (EMI) and ensure the best possible signal integrity and quality of seismic data. Metal enclosures also have superior thermal properties allowing us to use higher power processors.

  • 10 x analogue channels (vs netADC’s 8 channels)
  • Better performance (lower noise) at lower frequencies compared with netADC, allowing for better resolution of low frequencies radiated from large seismic events
  • 3 x high-range channels for increased sensor clipping and direct connection of high gain active sensors
  • 4 x digital sensor interfaces compatible with IMS XGM and other digital sensors
  • Internal clock with the ability to be disciplined to GPS or PTP-based time synchronisation sources
