Notification
Large events are prioritised.
An immediate concern is usually raised by events above a certain magnitude threshold, especially in working areas on a mine, as they may cause damage. For this reason, large events are prioritised. As soon as they have been processed, a set of notifications is sent out to the customer.  These notifications, detailing the event, are sent via one or more of the following methods:
SMS Notification
SMS to a selection of mobile numbers
Email Notification
Email to a selections of email addresses. This may include a snapshot of the event relative to available mine plans.
Voice Call
Voice call to a specified number, relaying to the recipient the event’s details.
TICKER APP
Details of the event at each stage of processing are also available via Ticker at the customer’s site, or on the mobile ticker app.
24/7 ASSIST
An experienced mine seismologist is constantly on standby and available every second of every day. No exceptions.
There is the option of sending notification of significantly large events for verification to a seismologist. The nominated seismologist will double-check the location and confirm source parameters and aftershock activity. If required, the results are discussed with the geotechnical engineer at the mine.
